Interesting to see that both Gold and US large cap stocks returned +20% in 2024, when there’s usually a minimal (or even negative) correlation between those asset classes.
Gold has been going nowhere but up the last 15 years. I suspect it has something to do with money supply / low interest rates / inflation that’s not reflected in official measures.
